Mega fashion retailer H&M has just launched their Conscious Exclusive Collection for Men, but for those who are unfamiliar with the division, Conscious Exclusive is a key part of H&M’s movement towards a more sustainable future. Across H&M’s entire offering, 26% of all pieces are now made from sustainable materials, with the goal each year to increase the share. H&M has set specific targets in every product range, such as 100% of its cotton to be sustainable by 2020. It is all proof of H&M’s commitment to making sustainable, good-quality fashion accessible to as many people as possible.
The men’s collection was more focused on tailored lines and modern silhouettes for an elevated look. Every piece in the collection is made from more sustainable materials, including BIONIC®, polyester made entirely from recycled shoreline plastic. Featuring a one-button black tuxedo in organic silk and matching pant featuring a classic tuxedo side stripe. The tuxedo also comes in a navy floral jacquard of recycled polyester with contrast black collar. A black wool blend suit has a strong-shouldered shape and includes the new BIONIC® material; for a more casual dress look, a 100% organic cotton western inspired jacket is richly embroidered with florals. Complete the look with dress shirts in organic silk or cotton, as well as a ruffle-fronted shirt in 100% organic silk. Cummerbunds are an essential detail, while a long thin scarf made of organic silk finishes the outfit. The dressy mood of the men’s pieces complements the women’s Conscious Exclusive collection, as well as the first ever Conscious Exclusive line for kids. Check the collection here!
