Luxury Beijing cuisine eatery, MR. CHOW, is set to open his 8th restaurant on one of Mexico City’s prestigious streets Masaryk Avenue, home to notable high fashion brands like Hermés, Louis Vuitton and Chanel. Designed by Cuaik Arquitectos, MR CHOW will be located in a historic Mexican, baroque-style house featuring two dining rooms, a bar and spacious outdoor terrace. With the intention of preserving its original architecture the space is covered with a steel structure with glass creating a contrast of two facades reflecting inspiration and simplicity.
Dining at MR. CHOW Mexico City expect a one-of-a-kind experience full of entertainment, featuring six distinct shows presented to guests each evening including: the Champagne trolley, the decanting of the wine, the Sole filleting, the Beijing Duck, the MR CHOW noodle show and the dessert trolley. For the last 48 years, the tradition at MR CHOW has been communal style eating so that patrons can experience all the dishes from Beijing. The menu is comprised of signature dishes like Chicken Satay, MR CHOW Noodles and China’s crown jewel, Beijing Duck, which is roasted to order and carved tableside, to name a few. Dessert selections are presented on a custom-made Christofle trolley, and include Grand Marnier marinated oranges, toasted coconut cake and white chocolate tofu raspberry cheesecake. Can’t leave out the drinks that are comprised of signature selections, including the Chow-lini with house-made peach foam and Champagne, the lychee martini and Red 22 & Collins made from fresh strawberries, Aperol and pink grapefruit juice.
And in addition to the new restaurant, a specially curated art collection by Michael Chow will include original works from famed artists and personal friends of Michael and Eva Chow. Check out the new restaurant below!
