BAPE® x Coach
Pioneers of Japenese streetwear culture, Bape® has crossed paths with American iconic luxury house for leather goods Coach to collaborate on a collection that represents a fusion of the established codes of both brands. With a span of leather goods and ready-to-wear offerings, you’ll find the very unique attitudes of each brands’ home turf of New York City and Tokyo. Channeling the labels’ shared appreciation and spirit of authenticity, self-expression and unexpected urban style.
The collaborative collection intertwines the sensibilities of both brands with bold yet playful pallettes and patterns. Throughout each category, you’ll see an interpretation of Coach’s signature pattern mixed with Bape®’s Ape Head logo monochromed in a camo, khaki and rainbow jaquard. A statement piece like the down puffer jacket in leather or the BAPESTA™ sneakers in celebration of their 20th anniversary and Coach’s iconic Academy backpack silhouette all featuring the Ape Head signature pattern. With tee shirts of course offered in exclusive color ways, product will be available in Los Angeles, Tokyo, Paris, New York and London (while supplies last).
And to wrap this all in a pretty bow, the brands’ have sought out top tier talent to photograph the collection in each of their hometown. Tokyo, is model + songwriter Koki and in Willimasburg, Brooklyn is actor + musician Quincy Brown. Photographed by up and coming NYC-based photograper Quil Lemons.
