Most people have an alter ego and for Grammy Award winning musician Bruno Mars, his invokes freedom, spontaneity, creativity and style, which are just a few words to describe him. The 24k magic artist will be giving the Midas touch to his first-ever lifestyle collection in partnership with the iconic French lifestyle brand, Lacoste. The collection called Ricky Regal, is the persona of Mars that blends the lust for life and luxury.
Given free rein to his imagination for this collection with the blessing of Lacoste’s Creative Director Louise Trotter, Mars pushed all the limits to give life to Ricky Regal, whose style embodies his passion for flamboyant rhythm and his love for the Crocodile and by bridging these the two strong energies, what do you think would happen? Having a knack for flair and pizzazz, these pieces translates into a range of ready-to-wear clothing, footwear and accessories. Articulated around fluid shirts and pop tracksuits, the line features shorts, polo shirts, T-shirts, pants, slides and socks, as well as an iconic pair of aviator sunglasses. While embedding a seductive palette of strong colors: mustard yellow, petrol blue, eggplant purple, coral red and tie-dye. A vibrant state of mind boosted by Lacoste's sportswear expertise. Velvet, silk and cotton fabrics with impeccable finishes create a fluid vibe, with pieces to wear on their own or as a complete look for an everyday sporty vibe.
The collection will be launched exclusively through a global network of 18 retailers on March 5, 2021 and premiering at Lacoste’s first retail concept shop on Melrose Place in Los Angeles. An immersive by-appointment only, two-story gallery-inspired space spanning 3,741 sq. ft. that’ll rotate every 6 weeks showcasing new brand collaborations and refreshed collections each time featuring bespoke immersive environments for the ultimate customer shopping experience. The first 2 week opening will pay homage to Ricky Regal. March 8, the collection will be available at select Lacoste boutiques and Lacoste.com
