A sensible and perfect collaboration between two brands should always stem from traditional values, heritage and quality. This makes for the perfect relationship with two iconic brands such as Brooks Brothers and FILA. Both with rich history built in their DNA in addition to a love for performance, innovation, style and well…tennis, the two powerhouses have come together for a limited edition capsule collection that captures the essence of what each brand stands for both separately and together.
Brooks Brothers whose known for their sartorial approach to tailoring and fit while FILA is a leader in sport and performance, meet at an intersection to create a collection that celebrates the elegance of the sport of tennis (to which they both share a huge love for) with an unexpected edge. A mix of streetwear inspired pieces with tailored components that’s presented with the signature white, navy and red color palette associated with each brand. With items for men and women, you’ll find offerings of seersucker suit separates as well as Oxford button down shirts and large graphic polos, matching track suits, v-neck tennis sweaters and vests with rib knit banding. For women, expect chunky cable knit tennis sweater dresses trimmed in red and navy, as well as a heritage-inspired pleated dress. Within this collection there are accessories comprised of neckties and belts to backpacks, waist bags, headbands and wristbands, designed with all-over logo graphics and striped detailing. All pieces in the collection feature the co-branded FILA and Brooks Brothers Golden Fleece logo treatment. FILA sponsored tennis players will wear court-ready styles in London that will range from performance polos, crewnecks, shorts, blazers, pants, and a collared sleeveless dress in all white.
And to bring this collection together, you know there has to be footwear involved. Two silhouettes, the Brooks Brothers x FILA Trigate and the Brooks Brothers x FILA Original Tennis LX. The Trigate runner is offered in three color-ways: two body colors of red or navy, as well as traditional white, navy, red color-way. Details include a reflective upper and mixed materials of suede, leather and mesh. Tennis LX is a court inspired low model that features the same dual-branded logo on the tongue, with embroidered FILA and Brooks Brothers’ logos on the back counter. The shoes are offered with three optional laces, each with striping that ties back to the apparel. The sock liner is decorated with a repeat graphic pattern that can also be found throughout the Brooks Brothers x FILA collection. Check out some of the pieces from the campaign below!
